Device Settings – Android

Device settings is a page implemented only in the Android version of Inosscan for now.

Unlike the Account settings which apply to all users of the account on all of their devices, the device settings apply only to the device they are set on. This settings also apply no matter which account the device is logged into.

Device Settings:

• Use external scanner if available (default: On)
• Enable QR Scanning this device (default: On)
• Start app on scan monitor (default: Off): Turn this setting on for devices used as public scanning stations
• Prevent back exiting app (default: On): Prevents the default back behaviour on Android exiting the app
• Monitor screen message (default: blank): A message shown to people on the scan monitor page. Could be a daily message or what to do should they forget their tag
